City Roof scot ltd

"Initially, I had a very positive experience — quick response and good-quality work on several roof skew repairs. Peter also gave helpful advice on repairing our GRP roof. Unfortunately, things went downhill after his team replaced the lead flashing on two roofs — both of which leaked shortly afterwards. One leak was reported the same day it was paid for, with clear video and photo evidence of water coming down an internal wall. Despite repeated contact, he has not returned to fix the issue in 2 years, 5 months and 28 days to be precise. Each time, he said he was busy but would get to it. Our last conversation was 18 weeks ago (12th Feb 2026) when he promised to come back after 2 - 3 weeks of dry weather — but he never did. It’s frustrating to see so many recent reviews praising quick responses while our issue has been ignored for years. Clearly new customers were being prioritised over existing ones. Your warranty means nothing if they never return. Beware."

"Contacted City Roof when I found a loose slate slippier into my gutter, the guys came out within a couple days to fix it, once there they identified some other issues that had been there a while I was unaware of and sent me photos etc to show me. Once materials were available they were back again within the week to carry out the larger repair. Really good communication and would use again if I had any issues in the future."

"City Roofing did repair work on my house at short notice. Peter is very responsive and kept me up to date with progress. I'm very happy with the service and the quality. Would definitely use again."

"Highly recommend using City Roofing. Many thanks to Peter for managing to fit me in at short notice, and to James for carrying out the work over the weekend. The flashing at the front of my house had detached and I had leaking gutters. Peter gave me plenty of options for how to proceed, then the work was carried out with no fuss and at a price I was happy with - Peter even talked me out of getting some work done he said wasn't necessary! Will definitely use again for any roof related issues. Thanks again guys!"

"Peter, James and the whole team have worked really quickly and efficiently at replacing the whole of our slate roof. The scaffold team were great at carefully locating the scaffold around our house. The skip was placed exactly where we wanted. James and the rest of the roofers finished the whole job, including the solar panel installation in just over a week, despite the rain. Really professional service, worked around our requests, and I'd highly recommend them all. I'm very pleased with the quality and care of the workmanship, and would use them again."
